Just got this last week, late model XL-12 with pyramid reed setup, has the blue coil, no spark and it is missing the air filter and cover. Price was right, free! Was a coworker’s than the local shop could not fix. The shop lost the filter and cover, the owner got mad and bought a new saw from somewhere else. I told him I could fix it for him but he said no you can have it .

Nice haul. Price was right too. I'm asked by a lot of friends why I have a McCulloch 610 and I tell them its my loaner saw. Ha. Unless they're as equally skilled with a chainsaw as I, The only saw I'm loaning out is the one that is currently NOT running. Otherwise, it will NEVER happen! I work too hard for and take too much pride in my equipment for it to be burned up in 6 seconds. But If you need help I'll gladly donate my time and cut it up for you.....

You guys keep taunting me with those gas cans... Haha. One of those is definitely on my wish list. Starting to wonder if they ever sold them in my neck of the woods as I have never seen one here.

Got a vintage gas can today. Has a brass fill spout that is spring loaded and seals on a taper. The tank fill cap has a mix cylinder underneath. Now that’s a score, that can is quite old.

Thanks, Any idea on the year of manufacture. Also wanted to say when the T shaped tip is pushed in it releases fuel.

Looked up the brand name EAGLE embossed on top of the can and found this on their website. " For nearly 60 years, Eagle Manufacturing's Safety Can product line ... has been an industry leader of safety cans approved for safe storage and handling of flammable liquids. 100 percent USA made. " Awesome find !!

Dam!!!!!! That's a super nice score! Never even seen one like that with the brass spout. And built in measuring cylinder too. I'd say that sets the bar.
