I know that there was a gear drive attachment for the C series saws. My question is, did Homelite make a factory built and decaled (C-5g,C-7g, etc...) line of C series gear drive saws? Seems like I have seen pictures of a C-5 gear drive with the C-5g decal but cant remember where.
Also, how many attachments were available for the C series? I have seen pictures of the gear drive and auto oiler attachments. I had the good fortune of scoring a C-5 with an auger attachment. Just curious what other attachments could be purchased. A sales brochure for this would be way cool!

I could be wrong on this but the oiler and the clutch cover gear drives were made by Homelite.
Most of the other things, winches, augers, etc. were aftermarket. At least it seems that way to me.

The auger is definitely built by an after market company, Ardis manufacturing I think. I wonder how many other attachments were made for the C series?

The only attachment that homelite made that I know of is the geardrive unit and the automatic oiling unit. My c-91 is labeled as "convertible drive" as it can accept the gear drive. I would love to get my hand on either unit!
