Got Pics?? You can actually upload them now, and its easier than at most sites! Right above the reply box and below the smileys youll see a new browse button in a line that says "Upload an image". Simply click "Browse" and find your pic, click "Host it", then select the top choice and click "Add to post". Easy as that you get a pic of a pretty girl! Enjoy!!!

Just in case someone has photos that are large and they would like to resize smaller or keep the same size but decrease the quality to decrease the file size, I have been using a very simple freeware software package called irfanview. www.irfanview.com/It is a small program and very easy to use for image editing. For anyone who may have any problems using or questions about this program, feel free to contact me as I've used it for a number of years and can offer what I learned/know.

I recently had problems when clicking on thumbnail photos in various threads. It would direct me to photoshack but would not display the photo.
I just found out that my Norton firewall "add blocking" option was turned on which prevented me from seeing the photos on photoshack, since an ad is shown on the site.
Thought I would pass this on as I recall others were having problems as well.
Any on else having problems getting out of this thread.
Oh it must be the photo. lololol

I have a 40 pg manual for a homelite 150. It's in PDF format. Is there any way to host that?

Welcome to HOH, 5runners! That is a cool SLX! Has it been clear coated? Magnesium needs to be protected against corrosion. You should think about getting a metal air cleaner cover, then polish it, that would be slick!
That saw looks like it could have been used in the movie Terminator 2 LOL

Hey Thanks Chainsawwhisperer! Instead of clear coat, I'm using Aerospace Protectant by 303 Products. I do have a spare metal air cover off of the '63 Super XL, but I'm thinking about parting it out.

Credit for this post goes to a7eCorsair I am modifying my original posting to clear up some confusion. Once you get the hang of it, uploading photos goes pretty quick. One thing that messes up viewing an embedded picture is if the picture is too large. When viewing a thread that has a large picture, the text and everything runs off the screen so you have to scroll back and forth. There is a related thread that talks about resizing pictures. Practice resizing your pictures and save a few to practice with. The upload has to be an acceptable format for Image Shack. In simple terms, it has to be a .jpg file , You cannot upload a .PDF Also, to upload a picture you cannot use the Quick Reply feature. Upload an Image Use the Browse button to locate the picture on you computer. Click Open and then click Host It. An Image Shack window should open with a line close to the top that has a URL titled "Direct Link." Copy the direct link by highlighting it and then right click the mouse and Copy it Switch back to HoH and place your cursor in the message box where you want the picture. Right click the mouse and paste it. You should see a line similar to this img151.imageshack.us/img151/7313/duckbillx.jpgIf you leave this in your message, viewers can click the link to see the picture. If you want the picture embedded in your message highlight the URL and then click the Picture Tag (second row, forth in) in the Add Tags: {img]http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/7313/duckbillx.jpg[/img} "img" is added before and after the URL in brackets. I changed the opening and closing brackets to braces so the URL with the tags will appear as text in this note. Here is the embedded picture. [image] If the picture is too large, delete the url and resize your picture as described it the other thread. Then repeat the above steps.
