Hello all I have inherited a blue homelite Ez model 10110 That i like very much. Saw currently has 16” bar snd chain. I am looking to put a 20” bar or so , on this saw to do some mill type ripping Of really dry cedar. Would you guys have a bar that would fit this saw? Or is there an sfter Market bar that would fit this saw? Thank you Gordon

Gordon I have new 200ATSA-095 20'oregon hard nose bars for the Homelite EZ saw. Are you sure 10110 is the right number? Homelites list does not show a 10110. It does have a 10101 listed. The price of the above bar is $40.00 plus shipping. If interested in a used bar I will check. Not sure if I have one.

I guess I should have asked this in my earlier reply as well. I am also looking for a 20" chain for ripping to fit that 20" bar. Would you have the ripping chain too? Thank You Gordon

Be careful with putting that big of a bar on that saw...it's only 35cc and it's not an automatic oiler. Milling will be hard on the clutch; go easy!
The bar Joyce has will fit...if she doesn't have the chain, you can buy 3/8" X .050" ripping chain at Bailey's website. You'll need 70 drive links for Joyce's bar.

Thank You Gordon Gordon, can you post pics of the saw and the plate? I ask, because yours might be a Canadian saw, and not all UT’s are listed for Canadian saws. Yes, Chainsawlady’s bar will fit the saw. She was a Homelite dealer for over 50 years.

I think you will find the EZ to be a little underpowered for a 20" bar. I am not sure how ripping chain compares to regular chain. I've had both a 16" and 18" bar on my SEZ and actually prefer the smaller bar, has more reserve power. I have a 20" bar on my SXL which is substantially larger than the EZ and while I would consider it a good fit, it can definitely get bogged down. That said, it'll pry work fine as long as your easy on it and not intending to win any races.
Also, since the EZ does not have an automatic oiler, make sure you stay on the oiler!

Thank you all for your advice and recommendations, I do appreciate it. Maybe I will look around for a little more powerfull saw and one with automatic oiler also, before I do this ripping. Maybe someone around here has one for sale? I just like this little homelite , because when I grab it out of my shed (which is not all that often) and gas and oil it, it starts and always does the job for me! If you guys are interested in pics of this saw , give me an email address and I will get some to you. Thanks again everyone, if I don't find something I will be back. Gordon
