How do I change that ”Collector wannabe” descriptor that is shown under my User Name when I use this site or can I even change it? I can't find it anywhere in my Profile to change with an Edit and I've looked everywhere. Was it just assigned to me and I have no say in what I am? I should probably just be called a Business User since I bought this blower to use to clean up my shop's floor and I did used to own a landscaping business in Indiana. Oh, and someone might want to know that the [Preview] button never works for me on this up-to-date Windows 10 computer of mine the uses Internet Explorer 11. Clicking it with my mouse does nothing.

It will change as your post count goes higher, I think there are at least 6 or more different levels

I believe that changes based on the number of post you make. Mine says master sawbuilder but I assure you that is not factually accurate but it is fun I guess

When replying, the page is already in "preview" mode until you click the "BBcode" button, then you can use "preview" to switch it back.

I believe that changes based time n the number of post you make. Mine says master sawbuilder but I assure you that is not factually accurate but it is fun I guess Mine says Master Saw Builder too and I can attest to the fact that I am a Wanna Be Saw Builder. I asked Leon about changing it, but all he was able to do was add "Collector" under my avatar.

You can click on "Profile" at the top of any page, then "Edit Profile" on the right, then "Personal at the top, then scroll down to "Most Recent Status" to add in a comment or message that will appear with your avitar. Mines says rather self centeredly, "If all we have are opinions, lets go with mine." You can put most anything you want in there, perhaps something like, "I like chainsaws but I have never dumpster dived for one, not that I wouldn't, I just never had the chance!" You can change it at any time.
The "Dumpster Diver" will change itself as explained above at some point, there does not seem to be any known way to alter it.

I'm sure you're right since mine just changed on its own to DUMPSTER DIVER instead of yesterday's COLLECTOR WANNABE. I'm OK with that. 😉

I don't know why it's called "BBcode", but it is a way you can share pictures between different websites in the form of symbols, letters and numbers. If you have a Flickr account or similar third party picture uploading website, you can get the website to translate the picture to BBcode for you. Then to change it to a picture again, you click the "BBcode" tab in this websites reply window, then paste the BBcode you got from the picture website, then when you click the "preview" tab, the BBcode appears as a picture.

That BBcode stuff is all way over my head & I don't even feel the need to learn how to do it or why someone would want to use it. I'm your basic Facebookaholic and my little trick for letting people see a photo on a forum or somewhere else that doesn't allow photo uploads is to post it into a folder in my Facebook that is set for Only Me to see. Then if I go back to that photo and hover down near the bottom of it (using a PC not a phone), just click Get Link to this Photo (or something like that) and it gives you a link for it & it tells you there that anyone who has this link can see this image even without a Facebook account.

That.s actually more complicated that the BBcode. Most of us upload our pictures to Flickr. when you view your picture at Flickr at the bottom right will be some icons, one is a arrow curved up to the right (share link) when you click on it it gives you a shareable link. Just move the cursor over the BBC code word and click on the link (it turns blue), and right click to copy it. Then past the link in your email. I don't think I even hit the BBcode at the bottom of my reply to paste the link and it still works, but your supposed to click the BBcode and then paste the link. The advantage to a Flickr account is that you can do alot of editing, creating albums and many other features.

I messed with your Dumpster Diver a little to remove some of the garbage in the background. Just because I like to dive into dumpsters, doesn't mean I like to live in garbage.

You also get stars, different amounts and colors as you go up levels.
