I am needing the following parts:
Cylinder Shield 57967-2 Damper 55506-A Exhaust Cap A-56613-A or 56396
I know these are pretty rare parts, I have no preference of NOS vs Used. If you have them or have any leads please let me know. Thanks!

Any opinions on perforated vs non perforated muffler? Also any leads on the cylinder cover?

Since the non-perforated cap requires a perforated insert, A-56068-A, it would be cheaper to get the perforated cap. The plain cap and insert might make the saw quieter and let less sparks out of the exhaust. You could buy this parts saw for the inner and outer cylinder covers and muffler cover: 770D Parts Saw
At the time I posted this, the parts saw listing was still active. It has now ended, but it looks like nobody bid on it, so it may be up for sale again.

It's a good thing I have some assistance here, cause I'd have goofed everything up lol.
I hope that saw comes back up- that would be the perfect donor saw and can pry get some of my money back once I have the needed parts.

Tempting.... shipping is steep though, wish it was on the right side of the country.

Here's another parts saw, with cylinder covers, muffler cover, and exhaust cap. It's a little more expensive than the other one but the shipping is free: link
Edit: The listing ended shortly after I posted the link.

The parts saw auction ended last night without being sold it looks like. I am tempted to pick it up but just can't get over the $50 shipping when I don't need 90% of the saw. The parts I need could be shipped for $10!

The parts saw has been relisted again, same price: link
You could ask the seller if they would sell parts off of it.

I have done just that and got a lackluster response (didn't even seem like he read my message). I made him an offer on it shipped (fairly close to the minimum bid price), and he replied he would be "upside down" if he shipped it to me for that price.
May have to bid this time around as it appears a parts saw will be my only option for the cylinder covers and they are getting more and more scarce.

Just noticed the 707g lists 56967-2 and the 770d lists 56967-1 for the cylinder cover. Will they interchange? I understand the -1 and -2 are revisions but are the parts the same?
