I was finally able to work on my brushcutter and get the governor working, all the parts were there. These type of governors, the throttle cable moves out of the way. The spring pulls the throttle open, the air vane pushes to keep throttle closed. The parts must move very freely for it to work correctly. Homelites that use this type of governor are brushcutters, pumps and circular saws. There are many holes in the throttle shaft, and each different type of piece uses different holes. I highly suggest anyone working on one of these, is to read the service manual. In the vid, its running a little rich, still need to replace fuel line, filter and grommets, and a few other things before final tune. drive.google.com/file/d/1OREh8SHfi6iaye4aJEh7v8jLct7593xv/view?usp=sharing

That is a great video of the throttle and governor action. I have had trouble describing how that worked but you nailed it. The lack of tune allows the governor to woggle around and its action is very clear in the video. Nice work.
