That sure is a beauty, and worthy of staying indoors.

Thanks guys. I have my XL-102 Automatic on the bench waiting for decals since March, I was hoping to have it restored quite a while ago. I really don't want to start on another restore restoration and not be able to get decals, so I may just look into buying my own equipment or not doing it at all. Its a shame because besides the enjoyment of restoring a saw also comes the knowledge in how they are put together and work.

What's the normal wait for them?

Normal wait time is around one month, but the XL-102A has a different color clutch and starter decal than the 102, because of this normal wait time was not normal. I said a month ago that I was just going box it up as parts and sell it on eBay, but I receive word that the decals would be ready very soon. Since my bench has been occupied I bought a small rubber made bench so I could at least work on another saw. 20180524_200748 by Al Michaels, on Flickr

Nice!!!! I need to learn how to paint like that! Are the decals waterside or self adhesive? Which kind did you use on your 2000?

Very good looking saw. I still haven't run across a big homelite around here. I have run across a few online but if shipping isn't the killer the initial price is. Oh well one day I am sure. Wonderful job on the resto too.

Wonderful job on the resto too. I'll ask member Biscuit if he wants to let go of one of his 2 dozen big Homelites. I've been meaning to go see him for two months, he's about 40 miles away
