Ran across this label in a box of miscellaneous Homelite parts today.

Oh man, another Homelite area. When will it end?
Almost any Homelite engine I have seen would take a pretty big airplane up, some with people on board! Never saw one used like that however. Anyone else?

Never heard of even a hint of Homelite airplane engines. Would have to search the NPPL books to see what years that part number was offered. Also have to ask the Chainsawlady this Friday.

I see Homelite RC engines on craigslist from time to time.

I have thought of putting a propeller on a weed wacker for an outboard but I don't have a boat to put it on.

Depending on the weed wacker you could put it on a wooden pallet and do a modern day Huckleberry Finn down the Mighty Mississippi

I'd pay good money to see a video of that!

They use a cordless drill to run a power wheel on scaffolding on wheels to move it around. The drill can be turned like a tiller.

That is pretty interesting. I wonder what those others are listed there with the aero engine.

The XLH-1 is a XL-12 power head with a long pole that shakes nuts out of trees, Called the XLH-1 Harvester, The XLWE-1 may be an electric weed eater and The XL-Bogue may be a XL-12 pulp-wood bow saw, the last two are guesses

Bogue definition, a bayou, stream, or waterway

Watched a video today of a B-29 large scale R/C model plane...and thought hmm, maybe powered by four of these Homelite engines. Radio controlled models are one of my hobbies. Enjoy the video ! www.youtube.com/watch?v=YH6suPNXdew

That plane was cool, sounded great!
Your picture appears to be mostly like a SEZ engine with some obvious differences, some maybe not obvious.
Am I the only one thinking I'd hate to send something up in the air that I thought very much of with it's fate totally in the hands of the blue death ignition?
