Shes fightin me a bit though. Must have a air leak.. I just changed both crank seals. Still cant get it to idle right. Wants to rev out. So i will have to tear into it tommorow change impulse line and possibly carb boot. Did fuel line and filter already ..

I've been there, I think we all have, if it has lipstick or a motor it will give you trouble.

Mine will idle till it starts warming up, then goes wide open like im holding the throttle. Its strange, cant set the metering screws right, have a hard time getting it to start sometimes. Other times it fires right up.

Exact same symptoms here. I am convinced an airleak. I almost always end up pulling the whole damn thing apart lol. Seems if you just try to get a saw running there ten more gremlins behind it. I just go through it. Seal the case up change lines etc and do fuel metering. I am postive i will find a hole in the impulse line or boot. Or crud in the carb.
