That's got to be one of the most complete collections of the 900 series saws in existence. Nicely done!

Theres still a few on the list to complete.. My 995g is much like your 995 it needs the starter trim ring among other parts to be complete. Awesome group of saws either way.

Now picture yourself standing on a log the size of a Greyhound bus, hanging 6 foot of bar over the side, about to start a 20 minute bucking cut. That is what they were made for.

It's a nice picture, but there aren't too many logs like that around anymore!

What was once a working man's machine, is now a collector's trophy.

What was once a working man's machine, is now a collector's trophy. Isnt that the case with many things vintage. Simple items like signs and gas pumps turn into collectable peices of history that we strive to preserve..

There isn't anything wrong about preserving historic items, it is a good thing and should be pursued. Carry on.

I would have love the oppurtunity to drag one of these around and get into some big wood though.. Hard work isnt a problem. There isn't anything wrong about preserving historic items, it is a good thing and should be pursued. Carry on.

Very nice collection of early 900 series saws. I don’t have any in that series. I believe a few in that series are quite rare.

Getting a big gear drive up on a big log was work in it's self. I used climb the butt using a pulaski, corks and letting the chain pull the saw up. fun times.
