Any recommendations on what paint and color to use? I think I messed up. Mine was too chalky to use Back to Black or similar product. So after cleaning and paint prep I used Rustoleum satin black. Won't no for sure until it fully dries but, I'm not overly optimistic.

Why not just get a metal one?

Why not just get a metal one? Thanks, that is an option. But, I thought my saw was late enough that this is the correct cover. The plastic cover was in good enough shape to paint. Lastly, even tho this is not a restoration, I'm trying different techniques out to see what will work. Now if this fails. I might go to a metal cover, but I will still need to know what color and brand of paint to use.

A plastic spray paint such as oologahan mentioned will work better on plastics than any regular enamel (such as rustoleum) in my experience. I have used the Krylon Fusion with good results.

I managed to get a pic between the rain we've had. The left side needs slight touchup, which can be done 48 hours after my last coat. With the moisture in the air I will be waiting alot longer then that. i.imgur.com/4rGNrgd.jpg
