I had an older Husqvarna 525 bought it new in 1996 (or at least the version of it then). I will not give my opinion of it as I don't want to be banned from HOH for foul language. If I had known then what I know now I would've look for one of those XL brush cutters then. I had a real bad experience with a Stihl FS70 after a 15 year perfect record with a Redmax. I bought the new anti-vibe Husky 525LS and have been super pleased. I did see that they had problems with the older models

Here’s my brush cutter. Can use either strings or a sawchain blade. Clears brush in short order when there’s a lot of brush to cut.

Here’s my brush cutter. Can use either strings or a sawchain blade. Clears brush in short order when there’s a lot of brush to cut. Those brush cutters take no prisoners. My neighbor had one that has thick, heavy, hinged blades like a brush hog. It will either cut off or uproot small stumps.

After my experience with the 435 chainsaw I never thought I would own another Husqvarna, but after getting this 525 LS in my hands I was impressed
