Well when I do mine, I'll trim it for the visual...but I'm impressed that it fits as well as it does. Great idea you had Oologahan! I am going to trim mine as well, and use an iron or seal a meal to recreate the edge

All trimmed up, going to offer it up for trade on a a 65cc or larger older auto oiler saw, watch the for sale section here. This 35 is a Homelite/Terry saw UT50222A, you wont see this saw nearly as much as the UT10670. This 35is different from the other 35's and very few of these are around, it takes a 450 air filter trimmed off on the back about 3/8". The clutch cover is not the same as the other 35's as are the case, carb and about a dozen other parts. 20180428_215240 by Al Michaels, on Flickr 20180428_215310 by Al Michaels, on Flickr 20180428_215259 by Al Michaels, on Flickr 20180428_215324 by Al Michaels, on Flickr 20180428_215247 by Al Michaels, on Flickr

While cruising eBay, I came across this listing. That got me thinking about this saw (which is the very same saw) and this thread. So I measure the air filter opening, yep, very same size. Took a chance and bought one, and fits, but we still don’t have a confirmation on the part number for this filter☹️☹️☹️

Sweet! I looked at that filter in person with my buddy Jim (dozerdude1 on Ebay) and had no idea what it was for!
