Saw a few of your videos speaking of oil/gas ratios,( always a good subject ) had a blue XL12 freeze up with carbon, was able to rebuild with just a handful of parts(got lucky). Was finally able to get some amsoil 2 stroke oil,SABER, mixed with no alcohol 89 octane fuel 80:1mix, my XL12 really liked it seemed like it picked up a few rpms over higher oil mix ratios idled really well, one pull starts ...will see how it does over the long haul when saw goes to working. Less oil = more gasoline through the jets and in the cylinder = more power. Nice when she runs right, eh?
