Undee70ss posted a link to a service manual for the 150 automatic recently. It was VERY USEFUL.I'm wondering if there are service manuals for the SEZ & XL-101 as well.I'm sure other members here would like those service manuals & others as well.I read a post made by a fallen member here - MCS.He had a ton of these service manuals but wouldn't post them to the public becauser there were people out there who would copy those service manuals & then sell them on Ebay.I can't say as I blame him,but with his passing a lot of knowledge was lost.

Yes there is a service manual for the EZ and EZ Automatic. Its one I haven't scanned yet. I don't have one on the X-101. I read a post made by a fallen member here - MCS.He had a ton of these service manuals but wouldn't post them to the public because there were people out there who would copy those service manuals & then sell them on Ebay.I can't say as I blame him,but with his passing a lot of knowledge was lost. Thats why me and Leon watermark all the files we post online. It takes a lot of effort to scan and make files. If someone scans their own literature and sells it on ebay, thats fine. We just don't want that to happen with our files. We post it online for free to be used by Homelite owners. This hobby is expensive enough, no one show have to pay to get a copy of a IPL or some other info, unless you want original literature.

Greg summed it up very nicely...sharing is something that neither one of us have a problem with. Freely giving material to someone else to sell on Ebay is en entirely different story!
I wasn't as active on HOH back when MCS was around, but I know he was a helluva good guy and he had tons of knowledge that he was willing to share. When he passed, House of Homelite entered a long decline and eventually this place was so deserted that you might not see a new post for weeks at a time. But a few guys like undee70ss, sweepleader, supercharged86, briantvt and a few others hung in and made sure the place wasn't totally barren. About a year ago the owner of the forum and I were able to come to terms on a transfer of ownership. I feel safe in saying that it's been one helluva a good year! I think MCS would be pretty happy with where HOH is today.

I must say Leon that you've done a helluva job here resurrecting this forum & making it a fun learning place where knowledge is not kept secret here, but is shared amongst it's members & guests. My hat is off to the guys & gals who hung in there to save a sinking ship.I wish I could've been here when MCS was around.I've read a lot of his old posts,I was actually reading them before I even became a member here.I think it's downright dasdardly that people will sink to such a level so as to acquire service manuals & the like & then sell them on Ebay. It's too bad that Homelite isn't still around to prosecute those individuals.A lot of things here are learned by word of mouth,as well as the written materials. If not for this forum,I'd think that Homelite products of the past would surely come to be extinct.

Thanks for sharing the 100 series service book!! This is really useful. I have a Super XL130 and most of the parts in this manual look pretty much identical.
