Does the Super EZ take the same 16" bar as my Super XL Auto? Can one still buy GB bars? Thanks, Tim

Super EZ or Super EZ Auto? Super EZ auto is the same bar mount, Super EZ is not . Don't know about the GB bars but Joyce may have NOS stuff.

All the info on his site is not always correct. SXL takes Oregon D196 mount. Super EZ takes Oregon K095 mount.

Here are two original Homelite bars. Black bar is for SXL. (D196) Grey bar is for Super EZ (K095) The slot size is the same, but the oil holes are in different locations.

So Acres information on the bar for the Super EZ Auto is wrong?
Maybe we should start accumulating a list and let him know. I wouldn't be receptive to getting getting that info in dribs & drabs but if I got a list I'd spend some time and make all the changes at once.
Also, the pattern numbers on the Acres site for the bar mount, are these just his reference numbers? An industry standard, Homelite standard? If none of the above, is there any standard or is it just a crap shoot from one manufacturer to the next?

The Super EZ has a small mount pad, if you use the bar ment for a larger pad, the oil will not reach the chain. Under has shown this to be correct with the photo.

Makes sense given the difference in size of the saws and potential bar length. I just went by what I saw on Mike Acres site. I was surprised when I first saw it but I guess I just wanted to believe. Thanks for clearing that up Undee.

Every manufacture has their own numbering system but most people refer to the Oregon numbers.
