BTW the sites storage says its full again I’ll let Leon respond if he sees this, but I believe it costs him money per month to upgrade the storage. I use tapatalk to post pics which doesn’t effect board storage. Flicker won’t either.

Does it help if I go back and edit my posts and delete the frivolous ones?

Okay, I upgraded to a significantly higher plan this time around...1200MB. If we reach that, we're doing something wrong! The previous limit was 500MB. I will try to stay very up to date on removing old Ebay & craiglsist ads, as this helped last time.

Are the ebay/craigslist embed links using a lot of storage space like pictures, if so, then why wouldn't free hosting site links use storage space? In looking over the board it is even hard to imagine that it went over 500MB. Could there be some very large pictures still on the board somewhere?

Back in the day when pics were MUCH smaller, the attachment method was promoted as the preferred way. There are still some old posts that have great information and pictures in them. The links themselves don't cost a thing and neither does posting the image while letting someone else's server host the image. It's only when files are uploaded to the Pro Boards server that this applies. The last time I went through the Ebay/Craiglist, I freed up nearly 100MB of space. I try really hard not to delete anything of value, as that is why we are here. I'll try to start monitoring storage more closely and really nail down where it's being used up. There's likely a good way around it, but again I do not want to discourage anyone from posting!

I post the links, but I thought there was a way for the pictures to show with the embeded free server link, maybe I'm wrong

I'm not sure how to use the BBC code in how it relates to posting pictures from free servers. I post the links, but I thought there was a way for the pictures to show with the embeded free server link, maybe I'm wrong There are several ways of doing it. How depends on what kind of device you use to get here on HOH. I can give you a much better answer knowing that.

Thanks Undee for keeping this going...I've been swamped at my "real" job and have not had the time to get some screen shots together. FLickr is super easy (pun?) to post stuff over here...their BBcode is formatted such that you can just copy and paste. I'll get a few screen shots posted asap.
