I do the same thing on my tractors as Leon des, fix them and then restore them, Right now the Homelite Model 2000 is getting new points, condenser, hub and drum, and hopefully I will find a muffler shield. the piston looks better than some I've seen, but I would appreciate if you guys looked at the pictures and see what you think. Its real dirty and I plan on giving it a GI cleaning. It appears in fairly good order on the carb, but its doesn't have any spark.

I don’t think that saw was used much at all

I don’t think they even offered those saws with 3/8 at the time. Look at back of drum, should be numbers there.

Thanks, Now I'm trying to figure out how to hold pressure on the Clutch while I turn the spanner
