I have several different Homelite models, from EZ, SXLAO, 850, 900 series, are the fuel lines the same in them and can you buy the fuel line from a mower shop? Is there a specific size that they need to be?

They are not all the same. Most people just use tygon which you can get at any decent mower/ saw shop or online. If you want specific sizes, I can look it up, I'm at work right now.

For some of those models, especially the SXL, the size will depend on the vintage of the saw. For my shop, I stock stuff with a 1/8" ID and 3/32" ID. It covers most applications well. I stock two different wall thicknesses of the 1/8". As undee70ss said, Tygon is easy to come by at a reputable small engine shop and even most Napa's. I've put together a good selection of Tygon kits that I sell through my store: www.leonschainsawpartsandrepair.com/apps/search?q=FLS*
