I just picked up a 719 on Craigslist what a monster. What year were these made mine is green & orange.Serial # is 0813585 . Carburetor is a Brown 6-CP. Anyone know where can pick up a kit for it?

I believe Chainsawlady still has some brown kits, but you would have to ask her.

Cool score! According to the IPL's I have, the 7-19 & 7-19C used a Brown 5-CS or 1-CP carburetor or a Tillotson HL-27B, HL-104A or HL-117C carburetor. I can't find a mention of the 6-CP, so I don't know if the 1-CP parts will interchange. I'm going to move this thread into Chainsawlady's storefront, as she is most likely to have the knowledge o this subject.

I just picked up a 719 on Craigslist what a monster. What year were these made mine is green & orange.Serial # is 0813585 Using Joyces sales records, about early/mid 1958. Since it has a 7 digit serial number, most likely built at the Gastonia NC plant.
