I have an original-equipment Homelite side-mount control box. Working and in good shape except for normal fading of the paint but "Homelite" is still clearly visible. Was rigged to an OMC outboard - it can basically be used for anything but if a Homelite owner needs it, it's available for sale or trade. email me at oldoutboardparts@gmail.com

I just had a friend score one of these for free in running condition. He's not a Homelite collector but he's starting to collect outboards. I don't know much about these motors but I do know that they use a 55 hp Crosley 4-cylinder inline car engine. These also came stock on Boston Whaler boats in the 60's. There's some guy up north in my state that makes aftermarket parts and water pump impellers for these. Honestly, If I had one I probably wouldn't want to run it, parts are difficult to find, and besides, who wants a four-stroke Homelite?

There is (and has been for a while ) a listing on F B Marketplace for a Homelite Bearcat outboard with controls . My I-net is acting up again ,
so I can't send a link , but search "homelite" in Jacksonville, Fl and it should come up . Message me tomorrow if you cant find it and I'll try again for a link .

I have a 68 Fisher Pierce Bearcat 55 in excellent original condition. I never got it running, but it turns freely. Likely needs fuel delivery repair. has good compression and good spark. not getting fuel. Best reasonable offer considered. In the greater Boston MA area
