Hello everyone, I am a new member and I have several old homelites, pre 1990. I was wanting to start restoring all of them, but one of my 150 automatics I would like to soup up...more fuel, port and Polish, and such. Any good suggestions for carb upgrade for this model? Thanks in advance!

Welcome aboard. Personally, I can't help you, but I am certain that someone here will be able to. What other saws do you have? Pictures? Thanks for checking in.

Not sure how to add photos, especially in a post. Once again I am new, and I don't have a home computer just a smartphone! I'll try though!

With how the carburetor mounts, there isn't really much you can do in terms of replacement. I'd do your mods and then see if the factory jet will accommodate enough fuel.

Best bang for the buck is providing an exhaust outlet size that's around 80% of the cylinder exhaust outlet and advancing the ignition timing. Carb change is way down the performance mod list.
