Those are great, the first two seemed familiar, I bet I have seen them on TV before, well, a few years ago!

Cool commercials.I was TDY in Central America much of this time, I never even saw a TV, lol. When we got leave we didn't spend it watching TV if you know what I mean.

Thanks for compiling these links here in one spot...I've seen all those before at one time, but probably couldn't have found them again!

I've seen most of these, even the one Oologahan posted (unfortunately ) but the one for the C series is new, to me at least. Very cool. Would love to know more about that auger attachment.

Here's one: minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/spo/d/homelite-chainsaw-ice-auger/6428881536.htmlBut I think it is aftermarket, I suspect that most were. I would like to have one of these, there is another one at that place in Iowa, (at least in their picture) that would not answer emails. This guy is too high for me. From what I have seen, the clutch drum comes off and the attachment fits over the clutch shoes OR the attachment has a star shaped hole that engages the spurs on the clutch drum, depending on manufacturer's idea of the right way to do it. They have a slot for the bar studs to bolt it up. That is all I know. I expect the gear ratio is about 6:1, some quote revs for the auger at about 600.

If that ice auger was local, I'd seriously consider it. But shipping that beast from Minnesota to Oregon would be insane! I could almost drive there and back cheaper!

I think he is having a tough time selling it. Not many collectors around who want it and he is asking for a "new" price so users are not interested. Now, if he was down around $100, it would be in my collection.
