Hey guys, been playing with the super wiz again lately and i am having a problem with the carb. This saw sat for 20 years before i got to it. I took the carb apart and soaked it in a carb dip tank. I ordered a brand new carb repair kit from tilly with diaphragms and a new needle and seat. Well anyways the saw runs good at idle but as soon as it goes off of idle it sounds like you have the choke 1/2 on. The low speed adjustment screw works fine but the high speed is unresponsive. I tired a few different adjustment screws to no avail. I also had the carb apart and dipped it twice and checked for missing welch plugs/ dirt or anything of of the ordinary but i have found nothing. One thing to add is i was following tillotsens troubleshooting guide but everything checks out. My carb number is HL117C and i found a new carb on numerous websites which is a hl117e wondering if it is the same carb with just updates. Anyone have any ideas?

That is kind of what im thinking. The carb visually is excellent looking but apparently it had been rebuilt awhile ago. I have to wonder if someone cranked it down in there. Ill have to call jacks hopefully monday.
