Does anyone have any recommendations for a good engine degreaser, I just ran out of my good stuff, "Next Dimension Professional Strength Parts Cleaner", I don't think they make that stuff anymore. Now all of the new stuff is water based and I can't seem to get it to cut that heavy stuck on greasey, almost like tar stuff. I don't want to scrape because that usually just damages the paint job. All I want to do is brush it on and wipe it off or blew it off with my air compressor.

Karla: Try a product by Bix called "TSP concentrate no rinse substitute". Its a safer, substitute product for the old trisodium phosphate. I got mine at Ace and comes in concentrate. Mix w/water 6:1 ratio and put on old windex spray bottle. Will degrease about as good as any I've tried. Great for paint prep too. Good luck.
