Im a new Homelite collector, but long time enthusiast. I recently picked up a 330 from a swap meet for $10 and naturally it didnt run. Thanks to this board and RBW i changed the intake boot which was destroyed thinking it would solve my problem.
I just got the saw back together with the new boot and it still will not run.
It starts, runs for a second then quits.
Could it be that the carb needs rebuilding or that the fuel lines are toast or something else entirely?
Any help would be appreciated!

I would say, Yes to both. Probably the carb needs rebuilt and the fuel lines are probably soft and squishy or completely shot.
