I flipped a 4wheeler last week and broke my collarbone. If I hadn't been drunk I'm convinced I'd have been hurt worse. No chainsawing for at least six weeks. This sucks balls.

Thanks Tom! I have a psuedo patent in for an ATV/Motorcycle bungee cord safety system that would have done absolutely no good in this situation. A simple helmet would have been nice. I essentially did a faceplant on the pavement and was knocked out cold for a few. Next time I'm going to find a nice patch of grass to flip my 4wheeler on. "It could have been worse" seems to be is the overall sentiment on this one and I agree. My skull is returning to it's normal shape and the shoulder pain is ebbing nicely, which is good because I ran out of vicodin 3 days ago. Oh the humanity....

Glad you are healing up. I remember many years ago practicing riding wheelies in a hilly pasture and the rear tire of my bike hit a small tree stump hidden in the grass. When the bike came down all of a sudden I noticed my face sliding through the grass with my body at an odd angle above it. No helmet! When I finally stopped and rolled over and set up I remember seeing bright white stars and little pink birdies flying in circle around my head!!! LOL Just like in the cartoons. Always thought that was not real but now know for a fact they exist. Only damage was a green rash on my face that did not want to wash off for what seemed like days and a lot less desire to ride wheelies. Have not seen those stars or birdies since and don't seem to miss them much Tom

Looks like you are healing nicely. Some good battle scars to show off at work and the bar. Hope you are a lefty, could be a little ajusting things for a while if you are a righty Your hide must be tougher than your bones. May want to increase your calcium intake a little. Or was the pavement a little soft where you landed? Look DAMN good for pavement contact. I slid on on my rear about 30 feet on a rock road in another little motorcycle wreck. Ground through my wallet and pants to the skin. Hide there was thinner than I would have guessed. No one wanted to see my injury very bad. Seemed to loose interest when I started to unbuckle my pants to show them
