This thing is awesome. Gets all the oils, fingerprints, and dirt off a number of items not just chainsaw stuff..

I find it very useful for cleaning up old plugged up carbys without destroying them. If you look for RC bearing cleaners some have a nice mesh cage for the small parts so you dont burn fingers trying to pick up small screws that fall through the grate.

They are a great tool. For cleaning carburetors they make a difference in success rate of rebuilds.

Say there Trib, where do you keep that thing? In an unlocked area of your home? Also, when are you usually out of the house?

i got one of those "good" usc's from hf. just get worn out punching the button after every 3 minute cycle. anyone figured out yet how to change the cycle time on the cheapo? also, what does everyone use for the "detergent"? i've found that all the green and orange stuff i've used discolors the aluminum. that's getting a little old; after all, we do like clean AND shiny don't we. one tip i picked up on another site. i place my dirty parts in a plastic baggy with the solvent. that way, when i'm finished i just pull the baggy out of the usc and don't have to clean much on the tank.
