Hi Barton! You would need to tell me which Carter kit you need. Take out the carb,....it should say on the bottom if it is an ND or an NRD. If it does not, take the gaskets and diaphragms out of the carb, lay them on a white piece of paper, take a pic and email it to me at scsupply@gmail.com. I will tell you what you need and then send you an invoice. Hope that helps! Thanks and I will talk to you soon! joe

Make sure that you locate the choke shaft locking ball and spring as soon as you remove the pump housing so that it doesn't fall out and get lost. There's also a procedure to set the diaphragm before you tighten up the cover plate. I'll locate the info and post it later.

Welcome to the House of Homelite! I think it was pastawon who had made repro belts for 1 or two models. Others will know for sure if he does not come up and tell you himself.

Looking for a belt for a 26lcs and a 5-30n. Both belts are .5437 pitch, 42 tooth, 22-15/16" long. The 26 LCS is 23/32" wide and the 5-30N is 1-1/16" wide. There is a Bridgeport mill timing belt that is a direct fit for the 5-30N. Some people cut the same belt down to fit the 26LCS. Hardinge PN HQT1115 Bridgeport PN 21062017, 11182106, and 527291778.

Thank you for the info. I will definitely look in to the bridgeport timing belt. Amazon has it. Do youknow where to get carb kits for both saws? Yeah hello to everyone! I'm from California. Don't really use the saws for work. I am a auto mechanic but somehow got hooked into collecting and restoring old saws and I would say it's really fun! Started with Stihl 090's and now also shifting to vintage Homelite. Really like the one's with big cc engines.

I am looking for carb kits, the belts, fuel line or at least the fittings and the spring inside the fuel hose and decals. The cloth hose will be easier to find as old Volkswagen hoses are cloth hose. All parts I am looking for are fir both 26lcs and 5-30N.

Also anyone know what kind of red it is for both the 26lcs and 5-30N? Closest shade of red?
