:-/Yesterday I stopped up at the neighborhood small engine shop for some SXL925 parts. While I was there, he gave me a duplicate master parts book that goes back to the mid- 50's. He also gave me the homelite service manual with all of the service bulletins. That was completely unexpected. To top it off, I stopped again that afternoon, and he had a box of new owners manuals he sent with me. In the parts and sales book, I see that a new 770GS with a 48" bar cost around $450.00 in 1963. That was big money back then.

Did you get any Homelite NPPLs - Numeric Parts Price List The best thing about those old parts price listings is they contain part numbers that have been substituted to newer numbers. I have two, a 1981 and a 1999. I'd like to find one from the early '70s. Did you get any Homelite Shop Service Manuals I have Vol. 1,2,3,4 and 6 and would like to find a Vol 5. That sure is a wonderful X-mas present Saws are one thing but the supporting documents are also interesting.

It has a NPPL (Numeric Parts Price List), an NLSL(No Longer Supplied List), a GBCA (Guide bar, Chain, and Accessory Price List), and a SPCL (Supeceded Parts Cross-Reference List). All of these are from 1981. The shop service manual is volume 4. There are also a huge amount of service memos sent to dealers from the factory. I will stop by tomorrow night when I get off work and see what else he might have. He has been a Homelite dealer for a very long time, and his Uncle had a homelite dealership in southern Iowa. A few years ago, when the uncle closed shop, this guy bought all of his inventory. Now he has had open heart surgery, and is back to work, but he's in a big house cleaning mode. I will let you know what I come up with.

Hello gentlemen, I see that you found an old manual for your 770GS. I would love to find one (or even a digital copy of one exists) for my "64"770G. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'll post current pics soon.
