I am in need of an automatic oiler clutch cover for my C series and Xp series saws. There has to be one out there somewhere someone wants to sell.

They are out there. The problem is there are not very many and the people that have them will not part with them

I have 2 brand new clutch covers (red) part# A58378-1, and 1 brand new superseeded cover A64074-4. These fit C51, C52, C72. I hope this helps.

Hi Wildman, I just saw your post on the automatic oiler clutch cover. Over the past several years, I have only been able to find two and I still have them both. They are a little peculiar in that in order to make them work, you need to have a special sprocket drum for the saw that has a special collar attached to it so that when the clutch engages the drum, the drum can drive the oiler. My oilers came on a C-91 and an XP-1000,.....neither one of them had the right sprocket drums to make them work.....I was dead in the water. Just a few weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to find just two of these special sprocket drums,......needless to say, I am excited to get them running again. They will both eventually be refurbished and put in collection on a redone C-91 and a redone XP-1000.....after I play with them a little, of course! As Bill had indicated, there are not many of them out there. I suspect needing the special sprocket drum was probably a key reason to their demise. I have worked up a design by where the drum can be attached to a floating rim, however, I am not sure how robust it will be without tooling a prototype and giving it a shot. Since these covers are like hen's teeth, there really hasn't been much of a push to get the design finished.....maybe someday. Maybe someone will find a large cache of them sitting in a warehouse somewhere! Wohoo!! Talk to you soon! Joe

Joe I actually found 2 new drums on ebay and almost snagged them so i had them for when I found a oiler. I guess your the one who found them also and grabbed them.
