Here's my LT500R A.K.A. Quadzilla. It's been sitting for 2 years and I got it ready Saturday and took it to my wife's family reunion. Her mom grew up in a log house on a small farm and we use the field in front of it as a flat track. We share it with go carts, UTV's dirt bikes. It's lots of fun but at 56 years old the 500 made me sore all over after a few days running it. I love the smell of the Benol castor. Now my 14 year old son wants to run it. Maybe someday I tell him. I bought a Husqvarna 525LS last year from our local saw shop and the handle floats, so its anti-vibe big time; I really like it. They sell a 525 model in the big box stores, but its not the same as the 525LS sold at Husqvarna dealers. So far its been a great trimmer, light and powerful. My previous trimmer was a 2004 Red Max that only needed 3 air filters and lasted 15 years, worked like a champ until it seized. At 300 bucks I'm hoping this Husky will work as well as my 160 dollar Red Max. BTW, Husqvarna owns Red Max and Red Max is still sold, but within a year almost every model is not well supported in parts. My '04 Red Max only had 3 parts that weren't NLA after 3 years, but I never needed any, but still.... Went with the Husky because of the sweet anti-vibe handle.

I have a friend that lives in Wheatland on Pomme de Terre Lake, is that close? BTW at 61 I'd settle for slightly off the grass as catching air, lol EDIT: got you mixed up with Steve

Forgot to post a picture of the rear tires. I like the name of them me being a chainsaw collector. LT500 Rear tire by CLASEC, on Flickr
