I have an old Homelite chain saw that I am restoring for a friend. He does not have any documentation. I am trying to better identify it and get the correct carb kit.
It is a Textron Homelite Model: UT 10695 Ser. #: HN2801041 It says XL on the recoil cover. The carb is a Zama. The only markings are H17 27G The oil pump is on the carb. Also, I assume the fuel/oil ratio is 40:1 can anyone confirm this?
Any help would be tremendous. Thanks

Go to Acrers site. At top click on manufactures. Search for Homelite-Textron. Find the XL model. Will give you good information on that saw. If you need any more help, post it, lots of great members here willing to help out.

OK. I found it after a few Google searches. fyi for anyone else who wants to do this I would say click on Chainsaws at the top and then click on Manufacturers. But good info and looks reliable and comprehensive. Thanks.

Thanks Terry, I noted on the Acrers site it said 32:1.......You are saying 40:1 will work ok as well? Some one else suggested the RB-46 kit. I looked at both and they look almost identical except for the welch plugs. Maybe that is true?
