Hi South,
Looking at the IPL on Leon's site it looks like you reuse the bottom screw, so you only need one new screw for the top of the spike. There's a spacer of sorts on the bottom of the saw between the body and the clutch cover......I don't know what it's called because those later IPLs didn't have part names, just numbers. You can see it in Figure 2, where the bottom screw is part #23. I don't know if you keep the spacer (part #22) or not. Guess it would be obvious, but don't have that saw personally.
