Clasec- Thanks for those great detailed pics. They will be of help to us all in ID-ing original full wrap bars. I have learned a lot about these and no doubt the information will be valuable for others here too! Sadly, I won't be able to proceed with my planned project.
Add: Good to see the full wrap is 8" height. The standard half wrap comes in at 8.5" so that cooresponds well with the shorter bar brackets that are required. Appreciate the help.

Hi TB,
Sorry to hear your plan didn't work out........I was thinking you were going to bend your own tubing. The benders are cheap and those aluminum tubes have a very generous bend radius.....so I would think after a few trial and error bends you'd nail it. As long as you mark the bar before you bent it for reference, repeating the bends should be easy. Hmmm.....if I could get to my bender I'd be tempted to give it a whirl. I'll see if we have dies for our hydraulic press at work, but we may not have anything for tubing that small. Or, if you have a machine shop in the area......they could probably bend you up some bars to your specs easy-peasy.....but note that I am well known for my over-simplifications. Wink-Wink!

Could be done, but I demanded a padded bar, that matched the other side! Have at it if you are inclined. Something nicely done IS possible.

Said you bought saw from a guy in red boiling springs, was his name Tony? Here is what showed up yesterday. Looks like a match to your pic W30bob. View AttachmentIt is listed : "West Coast Vintage Homelite Super EZ Auto Full Wrap 16" Bar Sez GREAT SHAPE!! Deceitful slimeball from Red Boiling Springs Tennessee deceptive title. NOT "West Coast" NOT "Full Wrap" NOT "16" guide bar (is 14") NOT "GREAT SHAPE!!" Has the taller half wrap bar support on it. Necessary with half wrap bars. I took the bar off and it is made of 2 half wrap bars, that has a copper tube stuffed in the 2 joint areas. There is a screw into the upper joint and a long pan head bolt attaching to the support. The lower has misaligned hole on the right side, a bent up left side and loose right cushion padding. Complete messy, poor quality attempt to mislead me. Complete falsification and not communicating back to me now.

Wow Tango......you're right, these things must be in high demand!! This one just ended on eBay and it brought a LOT more than I thought! bob I see them all too often for that kind of price, I would think. A few weeks back there was a listing for a trio of EZ's, one being a West Coast w/wrap, and I don't think that auction brought $100. I see a fair number of XL-9XX with the later style full wrap handle, and then the EZ's seem to be the next most common. I ran into a few of the early style full wraps for the 700/800/900 a few months back, and have been watching to see any others in the wild...those ones seem fairly scarce. I have yest to see an XL-12 full or 3/4 wrap Since Halloween though.
