Yikes! That is a bit complicated! I have one of the mufflers on Leon's Westy circa 1980 saw in the last pic you posted. It's not pristine, but I remember seeing it and thinking it was a bit weird. I guess with the full wrap bars being available outside the West Coast package there should be a number of them out there. Will keep my eyes peeled (whatever that means). While hunting around online last night I found there's a West Coast exhaust for the 150 as well. That's more of an external guard over the muffler with an internal screen (spark arrester). Thanks again for all the info........interesting stuff!
regards, bob

Clasec- A quick question for you if you don't mind. I have studied several pictures of the Homelite Super EZ full wrap bars. It APPEARS that they are made of a single pipe tube that is joined together near the lower right attachment screw, just inboard of that area. Do you see any evidence of a second joint, especially in the area of the upper bracket attachment?? My mind is turning again on some ideas.

If you could---Also interested in: Are there rubber bushings with SHOULDERED screws in the lower attachment points? If not, is the hole SMALLER DIAMETER for just the attachment screw? Is the junction at the bottom spliced or just end-abutted together? Maximun vertical height, and horizontal width?

If you need pictures of the kit uninstalled & installed, go to this site. arboristsite.com/threads/installing-a-homelite-super-ez-western-kit.219492/ Picture are very clear & shows kit laid out before installation & installed on saw.

Yeah-I have studied that already. Has some good details and I have found some of these are spliced at the bottom with the 2 ends about 1/2 inch apart. So far all examples APPEAR to be a single tube. Appears all splices are friction fit spliced, with no apparent attaching rivets/bolts. Any details that anyone might have will help. Still in preliminary investigation, but I intend to do a detailed construction project in the near future if a couple things work out right. Watch soon for a separate thread about things.

Some interesting things in the works here today: " Operation Full of Wrap" is starting to look to be a probability. I will know in the next couple days if it is a GO. Stay tuned for what could be a very worthy project. Will be a separate post, multi-entry saga------------------

I am trying to make heads or tails of the top mount part numbers. I purchased a Full Wrap EZ bar and stuck it on my XL-Mini with no issue. The Mini has a narrower tank than the other, later EZs, and so I have to skip one mounting bolt. I have another full wrap bar I picked up and it is identical to the first. I have an XL-1 I was tempted to out that on, and that saw is full width. However, I would consider selling it.
Inposted pictures of the Mini wearing the wrap in the models forum.

Handle brackets are of 2 basic sizes. The taller ones are #68734 (early-pre 1980) and #70307 (1980-up) They are interchangeable and will only fit the half wrap bars properly. The shorter handle brackets #68469 (early-pre 1980) and #70303 (1980-up) are made to fit the full wrap bar only and are 1/2" shorter. I was going to present this as part of my project but the cats out of the bag now on this. Pictures will help as it is impossible to see holding them in your hand! Standard long bracket for half wrap bars on left. The picture to the right shows the shorter bracket installed and you can see how much shorter it is.

What is the center-to-center measurement on the lower mount bolts on your XL Mini? I was not aware the tanks were skinnier than the Super Mini/Super EZ /XL1 tanks.

Update on planned Full Wrap Bar Project:
Sadly fellows, this project has been completely terminally cancelled. I will not be making an attempt at this as my hoped for right side bar candidate is NOT suitable. I found a very promising bar that had the correct general shape and curves, and bought it to see if it would work. Things looked very encouraging, but it has too broad a height between the bar ends to work. I cannot get the ends to line up with the Super Mini bar. So I am pronouncing the idea stillborn.
On a more positive note- IF you are in need of a Super Mini "S" handle, I have an excellent shape one to sell. They are very uncommon and it is the only Homelite that they fit. Part #70516. Note this will NOT fit the Super Mini SL model-it is different. PM me if interested.
That is all, TangoBravo out.
