VI Super 2 SL automatic I am going to remove the clutch unit. It is broken. I am however uncertain, if it is pressed on the crankshaft or if it has a thread. Left or righthand? It is said it has a thread, but why can't I see this thread?

I've never removed a clutch from a super 2 but every other Homelite has left hand threads holding it on.

Several good options there for the original S type clutch. Or use the A97921 3 shoe replacement clutch if you want one that won't break again.

Are there even more alternatives?

No other options that I'm aware of.
