There is a seller on eBay that has reproduced the fuel lines for the 26LCS. Last look at the ad, it mentioned that the inventory is low.

Don't worry about the inventory level. I just made up an other dozen.

65 lbs sounds very low. You could try filling the cylinder with penetrating oil/fluid of choice and letting it soak for a while. Rings could be stuck. I've also been told that the type of compression tester you use makes a difference. Mine is an automotive style that always reads kinda low because the Schrader valve is a ways away from the screw in fitting.

Compression may improve with some running, if you can get it started. Don't use ether, it can wash oil off the insides, very bad.

Yes. It is an impulse line that provides pressure to the fuel tank since the 26 does not have a pump, but does have a float.

Belay my last!! I think I only got part of that correct. It is an impulse line but it runs between the low end of the crankcase and the intake manifold. My guess is a vacuum is produced from a venturi effect of the fuel/air flow through the manifold and the fuel line directs that vacuum to the front side of the governor plate. But that is only a guess! Are there any carb wizards who can provide insight to the group?
As for pressurizing the tank that is what the copper line on the left side of the tank does which also runs to the crankcase.
