I saw a nice looking LX30 Bandit on Feebay for sale & looked on Acres' site for some info on it & couldn't find a thing.I wanted to know how many ccs it was (I'm assuming 30 from the # in the model name).I saw that Leon has an IPL for it & half of the writing was in French. This led me to believe it was made in Canada at the Terry plant, but no listing for it in Terry Ind.I hate it when I can't find specs on a saw.

It should be 31cc; it uses the same piston ring as a Super 2. It's just an evolution of the XL Automatic that was sold in the 90's. The all black version had a manual oiler only that was basically a primer bulb in the oil cap.

We're the red version and black version made at the same time?

Well that's good to know. I always thought it was basically just a dressed up XL. I had no idea it shared displacement with the Super 2. So it's basically a smaller, no frills Super 2?

Have a couple of them in the "when I get to it" pile, lots of plastic on them, if you ever need a parts saw I'd be happy to get rid of them

I have one and its one of my top go to saws for little small stuff around the neighborhood. One of the best starting saws I have too. I'll grab it before I grab my super 2. I never really got my super 2 starting all that great before I started back to college, so its been on the back burner. It runs good once it warms up just kinda hard to start. That Bandit though never fails.
