Great 40cc saw, built 101st day of 1980. Will have solid state ignition, blue coil, this was they're only downfall. Fairly high failure rate, compared to points/condenser.

Them EZ's are good saws with just little bit of TLC. What seems to do them EZ's in is long term storage with out exercise, especially if stored in a building that get high heat in summer time. I've got few EZ's and one is around 45 years old, gets used almost every fall for firewood and only had to replace chains and one carb kit. Is your a strong runner?
