Question for you all? Will a e-z cylinder fit on a sez chassis. Cylinder,piston an connecting rod? Or no connecting rod. I want to put a cylinder and piston off of a e-z and put on a sez chassis. Do able or not? What parts do I need to keep together? Thanks

I see that the e-z has .o12 less stroke than the sez!! I may have to keep the crank, connecting rod, piston and cylinder all together?

After your first post I was ready to say all you have to keep together is the piston and cylinder. Looks like you're seeing a difference in stroke on Acres chainsaw site. I'd question that the EZ is 1.3 inch stroke. I'm guessing that number is just rounded off and it's actually 1.3125 just like the SEZ. You'd could check both strokes. Personally, I'd just put it together and see if it turns over 360 degrees.
And someone please correct me if you have different information.

Thanks for the reply. Hope your right. I have an e-z cylinder that looks to be in great shape. Hate to waste it. If there is a difference in stroke like. (.012) wondering if the one ring design piston will have to much compression. The e-z has the 1 L shaped ring and 1.5 Dia piston. I measured the cylinders with a caliper and they appear the be the same other than the bore.

I just put a e-z piston, connecting rod and cylinder on a sez bottom end and she will rotate full stroke and back with no problem. Wow!! I should take both crankshafts to work and measure the stroke to know for sure!!

Good news. I guess for a sanity check, once you get it all put together, you could run the compression too just to see where it's at.
