These saws have a two piece fuel line. There's a line from the brass fitting beside the fuel shutoff inside of the gas tank. The brass fitting must be removed to install the line in the tank. The IPL list the fitting as outlet, #25. They don't come out easy, I have yet to get one out with a screwdriver. Good luck.

I did not know that.. Good info. I only replaced the line that goes to the carb. Regular 1/4" line. I went back with urethane line. It is running good. The line on the inside of the tank looks to be ok at this point. Better at this point to leave the line on the inside alone.

Glad to hear you have a running saw.Now you need to get it into some wood and see how it runs under load. You will also build your upper body swinging that saw for very long lol! Stay safe.

Start with the high; I'd go about an 1/8th turn richer to start with.

Well I got it to run a little longer in a cut with an 1/8 turn out from 1 1/4, but then it died again, and now I am seeing gas coming out from around the carb. I think it is flooded right now. Does that mean I might have a needle and seat problem. I remember seeing a diagram of how the tang should look to the rim, but can't find it. Best I can remember when I had apart the tang was pretty level if not a tad bit below the rim. Help !!!!

Update: All the screws on the bottom of the carb were pretty loose. I think that was a major problem. Thought I had them relatively snugged up. Have you guys had them work loose ? They are back tight once more , and while I had it to that point I checked the tang and it was pretty much flush with the top of the housing/rim. Started the saw up and I have it idling good. It stayed running just sitting for several min until I shut it down.
