This Super EZ came into my life 2 weeks ago at a swap meet. Couldn't say no to a $20.00 adoption fee! It had a lot of troubles that required working out including bad compression, carburetor problems, fuel line, duckbills, chain sharpening fail (original "38" chain!), bar troubles, hack repairs, etc. It now has a great deal of power, idles well, looks good and has earned its bucking spikes (on order!) It should be a great addition, but don't know when I'll find something to disassemble with it! OH- And today is its birthday- 47 yrs old Sept 4, 1974!

I have 3 of them in great working order and love running them. They seem easy to find in my area and don't bring a big asking price. I consider them as a mini big saw. Hope you enjoy owning it.

Thanks stillsawing! It will go well for my arsenal- A SXL925, XL101, Super Mini and now Super EZ. Probably will be a 4WD saw or maybe a "may I borrow" saw! I learn new things on every one of these. Had this one down to the drivecase/crankcase sorting problems. Interesting and valuable experience with some ring seating/sealing issues.

I agree with stillsawing, these are one of my favorite Homelite powerhouses! They sure can pack a punch for a mere 41cc.I'm surprised Homelite didn't come up with an 18 in.bar for them.

They certainly are welterweight champions-When they have some good compression numbers and a good chain on 'em!

Another couple pictures of "Twenty Dollar Bill" now that I'm done: Some just call him "Andy"

Looks great! I picked up a "West Coast" version that was advertised as a Super XL12,after a 45 min drive, and $60. It is one of my favorite to run.
