Good morning everyone. I inherited a HomeLite Super E-Z UT104033 chainsaw when my father passed away a couple years ago. I don't know anything about this saw and while my father kept damn near every manual for anything he ever bought, I was not able to find one for this beauty. My web searches have turned up no fruit either. I would like to get this old saw back into use but I don't even know what fuel mix to put in her. I'd love to find a manual, but any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

The original fuel ratio for your SEZ was 32:1,but with today's better oils you can safely run it at 40:1 or 50:1.Just mix up a bit of fuel & put a tsp.or so into the throat of the carb & give it a few pulls to see if it'll fire.Do you know if the saw was stored with fuel in the tank or stored empty?

That's my favorite vintage SEZ, all metal and point ignition. Great little saw. Depending on how long it sat, you might get lucky. I'd just dump some fuel mix in the tank and give her a rip. Like Ed said, with today's synthetic 2 stroke oils pretty much everyone runs 40:1 and up. Some go up to 80:1 and even higher. 16:1 or 32:1 will just foul you plug sooner. If you want to put a new plug in it, get a Champion DJ6J.
If you're really not familiar with the saw, before you try to crank it be sure to set the throttle lock which doubles as a compression release. In good condition that saw is a bear to crank under full compression.
Good luck with it.
