Hello everyone, Since 1995 I have owned a small Homelite T25 trimmer bought in France. Following a failure of the ignition coil, I had a lot of difficulty getting the right part. The UT20613A machine is not known on the WEB (including the American sites), it seems that it is a clone of the Homelite ST155.
I ordered a Chinese ST155 compatible ignition coil (https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B01LZJFTXH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) which works but I'm afraid of being stuck when ordering other parts (segment, seals, hoses ...).
Do you have any docs on this machine or on the ST155?
The user manual and the label on the machine confirms this ref UT20613. Thank you in advance for your help and sorry for my bad english.

Sorry I cannot help you with your ST155/T25 but I can compliment you on your English, very good. You have no need to worry about that!
Welcome to the House of Homelite.

Hi sweepleader, Thanks for your response! :-) I hope someone can help me about this trimmer. It's curious that a brand like Homelite makes a machine with an unknown reference? Manufacturing or special order for a store brand? It's à mystery... Here in France, I don't see anymore Homelite brand... Safir

Hi undee70ss, Thanks a lot for the docs!!! As I see, on the engine side, there is some differences between the models (Piston, cranckshaft, clutch/no clutch...). I must examine my model to find the most compatible parts... I don't know if leonschainsawpartsandrepair accept to ship to France but the shipping cost could be expensive...

Continuation of the T25 serie...
When I've changed the ignition coil, I noticed a slight hard point at top dead center but the engine starts and works well.
Despite everything, I wanted to know the cause of this slight hard point. So today I've disassembled the engine to find the cause and I found it: combustion residues (calamine in French) on the piston and in the cylinder head. Here is the pics: Engine disassembled
Piston with combustion residue
The piston ring is completely blocked.

Seals in poor condition:
After cleaning the combustion residues and reassembling for testing, the hard point at top dead center disapeared! YESSSSS! I then ordered the parts at leonschainsawpartsandrepair, I hope the delivery times are quick!
Question: What is the tightening torque for cylinder screws?
I will come back to give you news.
