So I recently purchased a 360 for a fella wanting one and it was in nice shape but he was able to find a better one. I really don't need another 360 but its P&C are pristine and I have a spare carb boot so what the hell right! I tore out the old boot and poured fuel in to try it out and wouldn't you know it, a small piece of the boot I hadn't seen got sucked right in🤯. So now a quick and easy job becomes me having to tear her down to retrieve what's left that I couldn't dig out. No damage done to the P&C, just a small black smear. Pics to follow.

We grab every one we can. I just picked up another very nice 360 a couple months ago for $50. Got it home and checked it out and everthing was in very good condition. We run the H out of them. They're our "go to" saws.
I'm pretty sure I've lost little pieces of rubber down in the saw in the past and never saw a problem. You planning to tear it down looking for the piece of rubber?

That rubber gets pretty gummy, would hate to see it stuck to the roller bearings at the crank/rod journal.

So I was able to salvage the piece of boot that went in! Bigger than I expected and thought I saw going in.
