I added an XL101 to my collection today. Didn't get a chance to do much checking it out except pumping the oiler and saw that it worked but didn't appear to leak oil afterwards. There was no gas in the tank so that remains to be seen. The saw is clean with 90+ percent of the decals still present. The biggest problem apparent is the handle has been swapped for a red one while the rest of the saw is blue & white. I want to find blue parts to put back on it. What other models besides XL101s will interchange? The existing blue parts have some patina that I wouldn't be able to match if I paint what I already have. I will post a pic or two tomorrow. Thanks.

I tried the XL101 out and it runs & cuts great. Now I'm looking for that BLUE handle.

Congratulations on the XL-101! I'm a firm believer in "if it ain't broke don't fix it".If you're really set on having the entire saw being blue, there are several handles on eBay & reasonably priced too.
