This is Chainsawlady's grandson. I have been her sort of IT person for on these forums when needed through the years. She has recently gone to the nursing home as she cannot care for herself alone any longer. I do not know yet (if anything) what will be done with the remaining chain saw parts that she has. If they are for sale again in the future, I will let you all know. I want to personally thank you all in this online community for being her friend through these years. It really meant a lot to her.
Thank you.

I've only known Joyce for a short 3 1/2 yrs.& I grew to really like her.I could always depend on herr getting parts to me in a timely manner.I will definitely miss her,she always had something to converse about other than chainsaw parts.I hope her remaining time will be pleasant & hope she'll have many new friends in her new home.

Joyce is a wonderful lady, you are very lucky to be her grandson. I have not met her in person but wish I could. You folks are just too far away. Please tell her we love her and wish her well.
The saw parts don't really matter, please keep us in mind and send along what news you can.
Thank you for helping her.

Thank you for the update concerning her wellbeing. I've had in the past the pleasure to converse and do business with Chainsawlady. Maybe a card sent to her new location will let her know that she is still part of this forum. If it is possible to send a note to her, please PM me an address.

I have not had the pleasure of conversing with your grandmother but can tell through posts that she's a true gem. Please let her know that all of us here at house of Homelite wish her the best and truly appreciate her.

I just saw this post. Joyce is one of a kind. I had the pleasure of dealing with her on a few occasions. It was so dear to me I kept the hand written paperwork from her. Wishing her well. Dan

If memory serves me correctly,Joyce just had a birthday a few days ago & she turned 95.To live to that age is a feat in itself, let alone she stayed active with the chainsaw parts until just recently.Happy Belated Birthday Joyce!

I bet we could set up a virtual GTG with Joyce to wish her well. Anyone else interested?

Does anyone know where she is, what facility? I bet old fashioned letters and cards would make her day!
