I got a 1050auto that had been in someone's garage rafters for at least 30 years. Amazingly all it needed was a fuel line. Started on the second pull. Here is my problem. I had noticed the clutch drum was warped, missing a shoe, and cover/cap. After putting on a bar and chain it did nothing. But without it spins (sprocket). I think the ideal course of action would be to replace clutch/shoe/drum. With little knowledge about clutches, would replacement solve the problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you haven't done it yet , go to "Leon's Chainsaw Parts and Repair" website and download the Illustrated Parts List (IPL) for this saw . The
parts diagrams will help you see what and how things work , along with part numbers to make your search for parts easier .
